Our staff is prepared to continue to provide high quality service to our local and surrounding communities in an effort to create a long-term “partnership” with our clients.
  Dr. Jonathon Renfro received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 1992. In 1994, Renfro Veterinary Services was founded. Dr Renfro is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, American Association of Bovine Practitioners, American College of Theriogenologists (Reproduction), and Missouri Academy of Veterinary Practitioners.
  Dr. Lacy Jones Allee graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She also received her Bachelors of Science in animal science from MU in 2011. While obtaining her degrees, Lacy worked as a veterinary technician in a small animal clinic in Columbia Missouri.

Dr. Lacy is a native of Hamilton, Missouri where she grew up on a dairy and beef farm. Lacy has a passion for canine internal medicine and bovine theriogenology. On her days off, you can find Lacy hiking with her three dogs or spending time on her family's farm.
  Lisa Wells has been working at Renfro Veterinary as a technician since August 2005. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology with a Zoology emphasis from NWMSU. “I enjoy helping the animals, both large and small and continuing to learn new things every day. I have a son who enjoys doing any outside activities; including any sports that I will participate with him in. I also have 2 four-legged babies; Hercules and Astra who add even more love and chaos to my life.”
  Michelle Hellman has been a veterinary technician since 1989. She worked in California for six years and Texas for five years before coming to join Renfro Veterinary Services in July 2002. She and her husband Mark are blessed with their two beautiful children and one grandchild. Michelle's hobbies include scrapbooking and crocheting. Included in her family are lots of different furry and feathered friends. According to Michelle, "I am very sensitive when a patient is lost. If I weren't, then I should be elsewhere. I have a wonderful job caring for our four legged friends and I will continue to do so until I retire!"
  Shari Renfro serves as practice manager for Renfro Veterinary Services. Shari has been involved in veterinary medicine since 1990, and joined this practice in early 1995. She is married to Dr Jonathon Renfro. Shari enjoys spending time with children Allie and Zane, serving as a Youth Friend volunteer at the elementary schools in Richmond, being active in the Millville United Methodist Church, and tending to the flower beds. The Renfro household also includes a miniature pincher named Hazel and a cat named Turtle.
  Kimberly O'Dell has been serving as a kennel attendant since July 2006 and employed at Renfro Veterinary Services, Inc. since February 2009. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Hardin, Missouri by her grandparents Daniel and Rosie Lile. Kim attended school in Hardin, Missouri and in Richmond, Missouri before graduating high school in Piggott, Arkansas in 2000. She is the mother of two sons and two daughters. Kim likes to spend her leisure time devoted to her children, playing and going for walks.
  Brinna Ford has been working for Renfro Veterinary Services since Feb. 2012. She was born and raised in Richmond. She graduated from Maple Wood Veterinary Technician Program in May 2008. Before coming to Renfro Veterinary Services she worked at clinics in Liberty and Claycomo. She and James, her husband, have one two legged child, Bethany and one four legged child, Maddie. She likes spending her extra time doing things with her family, for her Church and watching movies.
  Sara Ogan has been part of the Renfro Veterinary Services team since 2009, starting as kennel attendant and since progressing to animal care assistant. Sara shares, “I get much joy in seeing your pets be happy and healthy and from knowing that we all had a part in making sure they stay as healthy as they can be!” Sara has three four-legged kids at home; Marlee, Forrest and Dodge – each adopted through the clinic and each with their own unique story.
  Melanie Archerhas been working at Renfro Veterinary as a receptionist since December 2013. She and her husband Jon have a very ornery Husky named Abel. In her spare time, Melanie loves spending time at the lake, being with friends and family, and taking long walks with Abel.
  Katie Jones has been involved in veterinary medicine since 2011, joining the Renfro team in September 2015. Katie was raised in Hamilton on a small family farm. Given her upbringing, Katie naturally developed a strong passion for animals both large and small. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her four legged children, farm/yard work, and spending time with her family
